Tongue-tied is an early language-learning beta. Use its feedback as practice help, not as a guaranteed assessment of your German.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. The beta is for invited adult testers.
AI conversations and feedback
AI responses, transcriptions, translations and grammar feedback can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important with a teacher or another reliable source. Do not use Tongue-tied for emergencies, legal matters, medical matters or other high-stakes decisions.
Fair use
Talk has daily and monthly limits because live voice calls cost money. Do not automate requests, share account access, interfere with the service or use it for unlawful or abusive content.
Free and Pro access
Free accounts receive 15 Talk minutes each calendar month and 15 built-in practice sentences at each selected level. Pro includes 150 Talk minutes per subscription period and all 600 built-in practice sentences, with 100 at each level. Exercises created from your conversations, completed feedback, notes and learning history remain available without Pro.
Apple subscription
Tongue-tied Pro is a monthly auto-renewable subscription. The price shown by Apple is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings and restore an active purchase in Tongue-tied. Apple handles payment and refund requests.
Availability
The beta may change, pause or lose experimental data. We will try to protect stored learning data, but the beta does not promise uninterrupted access.
Ending your account
You can stop using Tongue-tied at any time. Delete your account from Settings to remove its stored learning data. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or creates unreasonable costs.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will appear here with a new date. Material changes may require you to agree again.
